NORTH DAKOTA FIRE DANGER RATING MAP
The ND Fire Danger Map is issued each morning. Although not very often, there are times when weather conditions that develop during the day result in a change to fire conditions and lead to issuance of a Red Flag Warning.
The Board of Logan County Commissioners declares a Fire Emergency and Burn Ban to include a ban on the ignition of fireworks, garbage burning, campfires, burning of farm or cropland, and unnecessary off-road motorized travel when the North Dakota Rangeland Fire Index is in the High, Very High, or Extreme category and/or a Red Flag Warning has been issued for Logan County until further notice.
Additionally, burning will be allowed in designated areas during a Low or Moderate Fire Danger Rating upon approval by the local fire response authority that has jurisdiction over the designated area.
