Burn Restriction Information
The Logan County Commission signed and implemented a Fire Emergency Declaration / Burn Restriction Proclamation at its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the Logan County Courthouse in Napoleon.
The Burn Restriction is typically signed and implemented in April of every year. This year, however, the implementation was moved forward one month to address an early start to the fire season in North Dakota.

Section 324 Notice: Tier II / Hazardous Chemical Reporting
In compliance with federal law, the Logan County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) gives notice that the Logan County Emergency Operations Plan, which includes the Emergency and Hazardous Chemical Inventory (Tier II) Reports and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs), has been received and reviewed by the Logan County LEPC.
These documents, along with the hazardous materials response plan for Logan County, are available for public inspection at the Logan County Courthouse – Emergency Manager's Office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
